Photon Therapy $149.95

The LightWave™ Skin Rejuvenation System
for professionals consists of an energy-emitting probe that emits
a combination of infrared and red visible high intensity pulsed
energy. This diode design is referred to as a "cluster" diode design
and incorporates all the healing properties that both types of lights
have to offer. It is important to note that the infrared light will
not appear to be turned on because it operates at a light spectrum
(940nm) that is not visible to the human eye. However, it is this
light spectrum that penetrates deepest into the dermal layers for
LightWave™ treatments.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is photonic therapy:
A. Photonic therapy is a natural therapy promoting the body's own
immune responses, its own methods of controlling pain and its own
healing abilities.
Monochromatic red light from super luminous diodes, not a laser
is used. It works to stimulate electro sensitive spots on the skin
including those usually called acupuncture points
2. How does photon therapy work?
A. The effects of photon therapy are photo chemical, not thermal.
Photons enter the tissue and are absorbed in the mitochondria and
the cell membrane. The photonic energy is converted to chemical
energy within the cell. Cell membrane permeability alters, and then
physiological changes occur. These physiological changes affect
macrophages, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, mast cells, bradykinin
and nerve conduction rates.
3. How does light actually make a difference
in health problems?
A. Ther are actually three pathways which are now well documented
in scientific papers. The first pathway prompts the brain to release
its own pain controlling hormones. The second pathway stimulates
the release of cortisol and other healing hormones. This is important
because the brain has the ability to switch off and ignore pain
signals. The third pathway is the improvements made to the way the
cells work and produce energy. This is why photonic therapy can
deal with a wide range of conditions from sports injuries to non-healing
ulcers and from rheumatism to chronic fatigue.
4. What types of conditions can photon
therapy treat?
A. Research has shown photon therapy creates photobiostimulation,
which activates enzymatic processes in our cells that promote cell
metabolism (increases cell function) This leads to an increase/release
of key hormones from the pineal gland whose primary source of stimulation
is light energy.
5. Does the medical community accept photonic
therapy as a viable practice?
A. Yes, There are more than 100 double blind positive studies confirming
the clinical effect of Low Level Laser Therapy. Today, more than
2,500 research reports are published that demonstrate the benefits
of photon therapy.
6. What are some of the advantages of
photon therapy over other modes of therapy?
A. Photon therapy hasbeen found to offer superior healing and pain
relieving effects compared to other electrotherapeutic methods.
It provides a universal method of treating muscle, tendon, ligament,
connective tissue, bone and skin tissue with one simple piece of
equipment. Most importantly, photon therapy is a non-invasive, drug
free treatment and does not require the use of needles or drugs.
7. Does photonic therapy cause a heating
of the tissue being treated?
A. Yes, due to increased circulation, there is usually and increase
of .5 degrees- 1 degree centigrade locally. The biological effects
have nothing to do with heath
8. Is photon therapy the same as using
lasers for treatment?
A. Though the therapy is similar, the technology is this product
is different from that used in lasers. Therapeutic laser light is
generally either visible (red) or invisible (infrared). Magic Healer
also operates in both the visible and infrared spectrum of light.
The difference between the two forms of therapies is that Magic
Healer products use Light Emitting Diodes (LED's) to generate energy
9. What is the difference between Lasers and LED's?
A. LED's are a recent advancement in the area of light therapy.
LED's are similar to lasers as they have the same healing effects
but differ in the way that the light energy is derived. A significant
difference between lasers and LED's is the power output. The peak
power output of LED's is measured in milliwatts, while that of lasers
is measured in watts. Many lasers use very high power outputs to
generate energy. LED's used in Magic Healer products are designed
to emit safe levels of power, stimulating the bodies healing mechanisms
while protecting the body from tissue damage.
